I'm only 9 days into Lent and it feels like 30, but i'm doing good and though i've been tempted I am still going. For some reason whenever you try to stay away from something, they just pop up everywhere. Like why the heck are there 3 retirement parties this week all with carrot cake, cheese cake and other goodies? I'm just saying...Off course I said no thanks and kept going, but man I sure wanted some lol.
Well today was a day for me. We had a retirement party as stated above and nothing was organized until the last minute. I felt bad because they didn't even buy a gift for the man or balloons nothing, just food! In my defense I was kept out of the loop no one e-mailed me or let me know what was going on and since i'm still new here I was lost! Next time i'll take care of the details and make sure that each person is appreciated like they well deserve!
I miss my friend Jade! She's in New York fighting through the snow, poor thing. I'm really glad I met her, we've only been friends for about 8 months but I feel like i've known her all my life. I guess I should do a post on how we met. After all she's my partner in crime now and offcourse always there when I need to talk or cry or scream! Like today. I'm still working on my list, sorry to say haven't gotten anywhere yet, I'm hoping that with this job i'll be able to cross of one item. And I maybe crossing off help a stranger soon. The others I definitley need to get the ball rolling on! So much to do! I need to keep working on my home life, thinking of moving out soon and getting on a better schedule with Nia. I need this to keep my sanity! Well i'm at work counting the hours, sorry this post is so all over the place....i'll get back later
