The Flu is a nasty little bugger...

This man has been hanging around in my throat all week! I have been sick since Monday. It started off as a little muscle pain and then turned into a monster attacking me. I had the chills, sweats, coughing and more pain. The Flu is no joke ya'll. It hurt so much that I couldn't even type my final paper for my math course. My whole body went numb at one point. The even crazier thing is I haven't missed one day of work this week! I know you are probably thinking she's an idiot! And I will admit that I am indeed an idiot, but I am scared to miss too many days of work because I don't want to be the new girl who's always out sick. I like my job and my paycheck and I don't want to lose that anytime soon. I will say my bosses (Yes I have more than one, isn't it lovely!) have been patient and kind to me. I guess I hide the fact that I'm super sick very well, because I haven't heard go home and get some rest!

Anywhoo, I've been coughing up my lungs, taking drugs and counting the hours until it's time to head home and do it all over again. I haven't been able to enjoy a meal or a drink since Monday and that sucks, but what sucks the most about the sickly situation is not being able to hug my little Noo Noo! She's been so cute all week. Really she's been cute since she was born, but you know I'm her mom so my opinion is biased. I just want to hold her and squeeze her little cheeks and give her many kisses. Note to Flu, please leave me alone!
