For a while now I've been doing some research on writing courses and different sites that would foster my writing. I'm currently working on a book that has me pulling my hairs out because I've developed a serious case of writer's block lately. The thing is that if you love writing you should be able to write about anything and everything that sparks a little bit of interest in you. Sometimes I get too obsessive and start editing and deleting and I'm left with blank pages. I need to start writing down everything I think,dream,see,miss,love,hate and then I can develop a story. I used to keep a journal when I was younger and as I grew older I kind of put that on the side. This blog has become my voice, an online journal and although I may not have many readers, I still enjoy coming here and writing my thoughts almost everyday. I hope that with time my writing improves and one day I'll publish something and be proud. To do that I just need to write and that is what I'll do. No matter what I feel, no matter how many words cross this page. I'm just going to write!
I was reading one of my favorite blogs the 30 before 30 list, and I picked up an idea from Suz. Her last two posts talks about being 18 and 19. It brought back so many memories of my own years and I got the idea to write down a list of things I did or accomplished when I was 17,18, 19 etc. Today the inspiration for my post comes from her.
