HAPPY MONDAY URGHHH!

Word to the wise, Don't relax your hair the weekend your family decides to hit the beach twice in a row! Happy Monday! I feel like scrooge this morning because I have a head ache, which I think has a lot to do with me going to bed too late! Thank the lord this week will be a short one. I am a bit jealous that my mom and others will be off from Wednesday, but hey one day for me is better than no days right? I'm also excited to be going camping this weekend! I thin I was about twelve years old the last time I camped. Please keep me & my toddler in your prayers because i'm sure she is going to test my skills with this one.

My weekend was nice. I didn't get out on Friday, but I finished reading "Such a Pretty Fat" - J.L. and I had to purchase "Bright Lights, Big A$$". I'm telling you Jen Lancaster is freaken hillarious! I've bought three of her books in less than a week, and it has been money well spent. It feels good to be reading and laughing again. I still have those moments in between when I get down, but it's getting better so I have hope.  Saturday I spent most of the day at home cleaning & re-organizing and then we went out to the beach to check on my Grandma. Let me tell you, my Grandmother is a whoot! She's 75 and a mixture between Wanda Sikes and Sophia from the Golden Girls, she is too funny! I was also somehow suckered into buying her some gladiator sandals! WTH, where is she going in some damn gladiators? Lol, anyways. After the beach I hung out with my Little Burger Jade & her bestie Michelle at Sharkey's where we laughed at the lame guys & the wrinkled waiters in their two piece bathing suits! (I just threw up in my mouth, again!) Sunday we got up early to head to the beach again. My mom said she wanted to leave the house before noon! Well...she also decided that she was going to cook a five course meal, do laundry & wash the cars before we left! At 3:00 PM we were on the road! lol. The beach was nice, water was a little rough so the baby didn't want to go in. This was fine by me because I didn't want to get my hair wet, but then she had a little potty incident so guess who ends up having to go into the ocean & brave the waves???? Overall we had a good time, I got no work done so I'm here trying to catch up. Everything has a price you know!

This week i'm working on my research paper for my capstone course, my 30 in 30 days list for April & off course finishing up my new book! Hope you guys have a great week! TTYS!
